Comes with a case, with purple lining, but would need some tender love and care to make it fully complimentive to the excellent finished restoration. Like new guitar. A beautiful craftsmanship and skill to have done work that generates a perfect era sound.

    Description

    Here is a 1928  "The Gibson"  L-4 Acoustic Guitar with an old Original Case that holds this Excellent Conditioned Guitar.   This is a gorgeous over 93 years old guitar with its original case.  The serial number on the seal is: 85781, and identifies the modal L-4 and the serial number would be used to calculate its production date.  This guitar plays magnificently, and its sound is distinctly clear and all beautifully reworked some new parts,all bringing it back to an original playing condition and being a package with supreme craftsmanship!  It appears fully restored as if it was new.  It's light as a feather and sound comes fully alive and projects beautifully and loud when you begin playing it. I can see a great guitarist doing great catalogs of songs around the history era of this guitar, and being a thunderous hit!  Around family and friends. a wonderful historic relic of Gibson Guitar Heritage. The case needs a full restoration, but still holds the guitar sufficiently for its protection and shows the  journey this guitar has made since its production. Thank you.
