    Description

    This auction is for an adorable Japanese wood nodder kokeshi doll from the 1960's, and measures 4.5" high.  She is wearing a red and green kimono decorated with metallic gold squiggles.  Around the middle, the artist left the natural wood bark for added depth and texture.  What is unique about this doll, is that she is wearing faux pearl ear rings that actually dangle with movement!  And her hair is pulled up into 2 cute curls.  There are no markings on the bottom.  Please see below for flaws.
    This Japanese wood kokeshi doll is in good vintage condition - with a bit of dust/dirt/age spots - and would make a great addition to your growing collection.  White areas are camera glare.
