Very nice Kokeshi Doll. I had a friend in Japan translate and she said part of the label states that this doll won a prize at the 24th Kokeshi Contest.the Kokeshi Contest is held yearly in Miyagi. The competition started in 1958 so the 24th one was in 1982. She has the original box and is about 6.25 inches tall or 15.875 cm. You get the doll and box. She really is a beauty!
