    Description

    This auction is for an adorable pair of Japanese wood kokeshi dolls from the 1970's, and measures 5" high, while the black base measures 2.5" long by 1.5" wide.  On one kimono, the artist painted a Shrine, and on the other kimono, he painted a pagoda with many trees and birds.  Each kokeshi is wearing a silk cord tied in a bow.  There are no markings on the bottom.  Please see below for flaws.
    This pair of Japanese wood kokeshi dolls is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws
    - and they would make a good addition to your growing collection.  White areas are camera glare.
    Please remember that this is a vintage piece that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots.
    And please note the size of this piece as the pictures may make it look larger than it actually is.
