    Description

    This auction is for an adorable pair of Japanese wood kokeshi dolls from the post World War 2 era, and measures 2.25" high.  This piece features a mother and her baby.  Mom's wearing several hair adornments including a pink head scarf decorated with tiny white flowers.  The artist left the natural wood bark around most of the kimono.  The baby's face is so cute.  Will try to post a better pic of the baby's face.

    This kokeshi doll piece is in good vintage condition - with some dust/dirt and worn/yellowing/missing varnish/paint  - and would still make a great addition to your growing collection.  White areas are camera glare.
    Please remember that this is a vintage doll that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots.
    And please note the size of the doll as the pictures may make it look larger than it actually is.
