    23" Marked Japanese Oyama Ningyo Ningyou Geisha Doll - Subtle Beauty by Sumire
    This lovely Geisha doll comes from the smoke-free luxury estate of an Asian art collector.  It was very well crafted and measures approximately 23" tall with a weight of 2.5 lbs.  The wooden base measures just about 11 3/4 " wide and 9 1/2" deep.
    The doll has been well cared for over the years, but does have some small signs age.  It still has the original Oyama Ningyou tag from purchase.  The front of the stand also names the doll in English as "Subtle Beauty: Made by Sumire".  The tag on the front of the base is a little damaged as you can see in the photos.  There is also a little dust on the clothes of the doll.  Overall it is in good pre-owned condition.
    Quite the beautiful doll when on display.  A great addition for any Japanese enthusiast!
