    Description

    This unique 11” Imperial Grape purple ruffled bowl has been called a salad bowl. According to an article written by Roy Hieger in 2007 for the International Carnival Glass Association “round and ruffled collar based bowls” like this one “that measure between 10 and 12 inches are scarce in any color”. A purple one like this sold at auction earlier this year for 0. This bowl has a lovely silver iridescence, but unfortunately there is some wear in the middle of the bowl (see photo 7). This bowl has no chips, cracks or repairs. As I mentioned it measures 11” wide and 3” tall. Please message me if you have any questions.
