* A thin finish allows the instrument soundboard to vibrate far more freely. The natural wood pores may appear. This is to be expected.
* The bridge is left unfinished purposely - The bridge is often not finished on quality instruments.
* The sound and playability of Solid Wood instruments such as we offer will only improve with age.

Change strings often. A cheap instrument with new strings will often sound better than an excellent instrument with old strings.
* Loosen the strings if you plan to store your instrument for an extended period of time.
* Keep your instrument in its case when you are not playing it.  This ensures protection from heat, humidity and bumps.
* Do not expose your instrument to temperature or humidity extremes. Do not leave your instrument in a hot or cold car, even if it is in its case. These extremes can cause damage such as cracked wood or finish checks (cracking) and are not warranted by the manufacturer.
