Description
Carl AUBOCK designed microscope - Reichert NEOPAN
This microscope has been made by Reichert Austria. Nr. 352 657. It is a design by Carl Auböck. Exhibited also at the
Triennale Milano
! I included 2 scans from the exhibition catalogue where it is shown as one of Austrias design masterpieces.
I am not an expert in scientific instruments, so please take a good look at the photos. In my opinion the condition of this microscope is good to very good. It seems as if it has not been used a lot. The light is in working condition. I tested the instrument by enlarging a newspaper article which worked very well. The only flaw I want to mention is that the plastic cover of the light shows a crack, but that does not really disturb the optical appearence. All parts are fully stable.
The microscope and its components are from around 1967 and the following years. Nevertheless you will only find a few fine scratches. No oxidation at all.
Weight is about 4.8kg. The base measures 23.5x11cm and the maximum height is about 35cm (14 inches). Will be well packed and shipped in a parcel class "up to 10kg".
Don't miss this chance to add this wonderful design masterpiece by Carl Auböck to your Auböck collection! Seen on 1stdibs with a price of about 3500 USD this is a real bargain!

A short introduction about the Werkstätte Carl Auböck
Shipping
Worldwide shipping were possible! I combine shipping costs!
I am located in Vienna, Austria, EU and ship from here. Although all parcels go by airmail, sometimes it can take a bit longer than expected. An average parcel, e.g. to the USA, takes about 10-14 business days to arrive. Sometimes it can also take 3-4 weeks. There are customs and security checks involved that sometimes delay the shipment.
Especially smaller parcels (up to 1kg), get in many cases upgraded at my costs to priority parcel mail (depends on the weight and destination). Still there is no guaranteed shipping time.
Carriers I use are the Austrian Post and sometimes smaller carriers like Hermes and GLS. In your country the parcels will be delivered with a local carrier (e.g. USPS in the USA).
