The Avalon Tenor Ukulele from Fender is a well-balanced instrument built for comfort with iconic SoCal Fender vibes. The Avalon’s satin-finished basswood body features a comfortable tenor profile, a slight step up from smaller soprano and concert sizes. The tenor uke is still incredibly portable but speaks with a slightly bigger voice and enhanced bass.
Quality construction means comfortable playing
The Avalon Tenor Ukulele’s slightly larger size and longer 19-fret walnut fingerboard are balanced with plenty of room for both strumming and comfortable fingerpicking. Compared to smaller ukuleles, the Avalon’s slightly wider string spacing also makes it easier to play for artists with bigger hands and fingers. Plus, its neck is built from sturdy resonant nato wood, with a modern “C” profile for easy fretting in any position.
