The pink silk gown was inspired by the fashion of the 1930s and was created by one of Diana's favorite fashion designers. It had a fluid skirt with an inverted wrap-over front pleat. Its off-the-shoulder neckline draped softly into a cowl at the back, and the skirt had a tailed, mermaid hemline.
