    This piece started life in the Freewing F-86 80mm EDF from Motion RC. I flew well over 100 flights before destroying that model in devastating crash! .. .I then moved this 80mm EDF from that F-86 into an E-Flite F-4 Phantom... it worked very well until I destroyed THAT aircraft in a full-stall during take-off... "Kaboom!" I am THROUGH with jets!
    As you can see in the pictures, the areas of the metal body that look to be sandblasted, really ARE sandblasted! I fly in the Arizona desert from a paved runway... but... things happen, right?
    This unit has a new plastic fan blade installed: Motion RC SKU# P08051
    I took everything apart so that I could confirm which motor was in this unit. ... The unit is reassembled and ready to fly!
    It runs strong and that 12-bladed fan sounds awesome!
