    Description

    Up for sale is a very nice vintage Gretsch All Solid Mahogany Soprano Ukulele. Made in the USA. This Ukulele has not been played much at all. I have hand rubbed some pure tangerine oil on it and brought out the natural beauty and grain of the mahogany. It really preserves and makes the wood stand out. The fretboard has also been gently cleaned and lightly oiled. Solid one piece mahogany neck and headstock. New Ernie Ball black nylon strings need to be broken in so may require a bit of extra tuning. A beautifully made very sweet sounding Ukulele with great sustain and intonation. There is a hard to see surface hairline crack just below the bridge with no effect on the looks or playability. The rest of this instrument is in excellent plus condition for a vintage 1950's model and has been well taken care of. Although the original friction tuners work fine I highly recommend newer Gotoh friction tuners for an even better tuning capability. A perfect beginner to advanced player Ukulele and will be shipped in it's original box. No gig bag or case, just the Uke. Please ask any questions before purchasing.
