Hawaiian Radio Tone Guitar c. 1930’s Dobro Square Neck Resonator.
Our research shows this instrument was made by the Dobro Company for music schools in the 1930’s. It’s does show significant wear marks, scratches, dings, some paint drips, and a small piece of veneer peeled off. It is in remarkably good stable playing shape and has no significant cracks. There is only one very small separation at the very bottom of the heel which is typical for these older resonator instruments. It does not affect the playability. There is also some tarnish on the metal parts as should be expected on a guitar that’s been around since the 1930’s. This guitar is a very rare find and has tons of character!
