Kimekomi dolls were first created
in 1736 in Kyoto.
Kimekomi refers
to a doll-making method of carving
narrow grooves on the doll's body
and inserting the
edge of the cloth
into the grooves.
The Rabbit is the fourth animal of the
Chinese zodiac and represent kindness,
courage, and strength.
Measurements: 6.75" x 5" x 2.75".
Excellent, clean condition.
Silk Kimono fabric is not faded.
The original box has some shelf wear.
