Japanese doll Nemuri Ejiko (Small) Gradation "yuuhi" 4cm by Yusuke Sato -BTO-, made in Japan
About Ejiko:
“Ejiko” is a form that was commonly seen in farmhouses in Tohoku. A warm squid basket woven by straw for farmers who were doing baby-sitting to keep their children lying by. I called it "Ejiko". It is said that the straw was woven with fluffy soft rice straw that had just grown, not the straw after harvesting ordinary rice. It must have been a very warm and soft place to rest. Nemuri Ejiko is made by expressing a peaceful baby in such a warm straw basket.

Kokeshi: domestic natural wood, Mizuki
Kokeshi will be handmade by Seikou Sato. The facial expressions and grain may differ slightly, so please understand before ordering.
