This Japanese wood kokeshi doll measures 4" high.  This interesting kokeshi doll's body/kimono is a large Shogi piece.  Shogi is Japanese chess.  She's a traveler, since she's also carrying a walking stick and a hat for her journey.  Please see below for flaws.
This kokeshi doll is in good vintage condition - with some natural but uneven aging/shading/darkening of the wood, and worn paint/varnish on her hair - and would make a great addition to your growing collection.  White areas are camera glare.
Please remember that this is a vintage doll that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots.
And please note the size of the doll as the pictures may make it look larger than it actually is.
