    Description

    This Japanese wood nodder kokeshi doll measures 5" high.  This interesting kokeshi dolls' head represents a Japanese ink brush and his body is the ink brush handle.  These brushes are used in calligraphy and beautiful ink brush paintings.  His kimono is decorated with a beautiful red and gray pagoda and shrine located in the Japanese countryside.  There are Japanese characters above the picture.  Please see below for flaws.
    This Japanese wood ink brush nodder kokeshi doll is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws - and would make a great addition to your growing collection.  White areas are camera glare.
    Please remember that this is a vintage piece that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots.
