    Description

    Hello, Kokeshi fans !
There are 7 kinds of vegetable tops in a wooden basket.
Spinach, pumpkin, tomato, eggplant, cucumber, carrot, and shiitake mushroom top.
It takes practice to spin the tops of carrots and shiitake mushrooms. If you practice, the carrot will turn beautifully vertically. I can't turn shiitake mushrooms well.
As you know, Mr. Nishiyama's work is very unique.
Shiitake tops is very rare (though I can't turn them well ..).
The picture drawn on the basket is also very cute and I love it. Moreover, the names of each vegetable are written properly in hiragana.
The basket was made by his father Nishiyama Kenichi 1920-2003
The painting is his son Toshihiko.
Size: Height 9.5 cm, Weight 420 g [Including tops]
It's a very old work. There are small scratches and fading due to aging.
The lid has worm-eaten scratches that are common on wood products.
