Kala KA-BMB-T tenor ukulele, brand-new in box. Body and top are both solid bamboo. Aquila strings, open-back tuners, satin finish.
This is a perfect beginner uke or a great travel uke for a more experienced player. I have an identical one, and it is my favorite ukulele. I find that the bamboo gives this uke the richer tone characteristic of solid wood instruments while keeping the durability of laminate instruments. It has a darker tone than many ukuleles and is conducive to playing country and folk music. Frets are smooth. Comes with Aquila strings, standard high G tuning.
