Quality Hawaiian ukulele made in 2006, concert size from Kamaka, an indispensable top brand of authentic handmade ukuleles since 1916.
This size falls between the soprano and tenor. It combines the ease of a full tone with the ease of a small soprano. Also called alto. The long scale has the advantage of being easy to hold, and the current string height at the joint is 2.2mm, the nut width is 35mm, and the neck is kept straight for good playability.
It is made of Hawaiian koa and has been lacquered to accentuate its excellent grain. The neck is made of mahogany, and the fingerboard and bridge are made of rosewood.
There are some scattered scratches from the 11th fret of the fingerboard to the high position and around the soundhole, but there are no problems in terms of both playing and painting. There is a slight ripple on the top surface under the bridge, but it is not enough to affect the bracing or string height.
The wood joints are perfect, and the metal parts of the pegs are starting to cloud over, but with the price of new instruments gradually rising, this is a rare opportunity. Don't miss it!
