    Description

Up for sale is an extremely cool and rare 1890's Bay State Parlor Guitar.  Guitar exhibits fantastic build quality as associated with John C. Haynes, its creator.  According to a serial number chart this guitar is 1891-1895 exhibiting all the correct features.  This includes the iconic Bay State logo on the back of the head stock and the "Z" serial number on the top edge.  Guitar has a classic "V" style neck, but is still very comfortable to play.  When restored these guitars are highly sought after.  This one needs a little TLC, but as a project should come back nicely.  THERE ARE NO TOP OR BACK CRACKS.  The guitar has a crack starting roughly in the middle of the bass side extending almost to the bottom pin (please see photos).  There was an attempt at a repair.  Also the neck will need attention due to the high string height.  The bridge is original, but has been reglued.  One of the tuners is slightly bent, but all of the buttons are intact  This guitar is a very cool and an awesome little size.  It measures roughly 36" in length and only 11" at the widest point of the bout.  This is a killer little project guitar with the potential to be a beauty! Guitar doesn't include a case, but will be professionally packed.  FREE DOMESTIC SHIPPING!  International Bidders are welcome, please use calculator to determine cost.  THANK YOU!
