On the other side is a political map, showing current boundaries as well as roads, railroads, airline routes, oil pipelines, and other features in Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama, featuring the beautiful cartography of the National Geographic Society.
Three insets depict land use, ethnic distribution, and population density.
