    Description

    A pair of Japanese Kokeshi dolls (Japanese Folk art). One is a pink Geisha with fan and the other light green with folded fan. One has a paper label on the bottom. Hand painted in matte colors with faint gold splatter. A light weight wood. Very good condition. No issues.
    These are vintage but not antique. They are unusual in that their colors are matte and very spring-like, instead of the glossy rich dark reds, etc. Seasons are very important in Japanese culture, as are trees. This pair represents spring time.
