Description

The Pelican is a large water bird of the family Pelecanidae.  Although most Pelicans are pale in color, the Brown Pelican and the Peruvian Pelicans differ with their dark plumage.  They have extremely long beaks and large throat pouches making it possible for these great birds to spot their prey, dive into the water, and scoop and catch fish, draining all water before swallowing their dinner! During mating season the bills, pouches, and bare facial skin becomes brightly colored.  Fossil evidence of Pelicans dates back at least 30 million years.
This adorable set of Pelican Salt and Pepper Shakers will delight the marine lover on your list!  They are subtly crafted of white ceramic and delicately hand-painted with highlights of yellow and brown. The Pepper Shaker has two holes at the top and a brighter yellow pouch.  The Salt Shaker has three holes at the top and a lighter yellow pouch.  Both have adorable faces and eyes.  The stoppers at the bottoms of the Pelicans are cork.  Research has shown this to be a vintage set of shakers, probably from Japan (cork stoppers), and crafted in the style of the 60's figural salt and pepper shakers.  A great set for the collector and Pelican lover!

PayPal is the required payment.  With the Pay Pal account you will be able to purchase items using any major credit card, debit card, or electronic check.  You will also be able to purchase through your Pay Pal account, if preferred.  For multiple purchases, please wait until I adjust the invoice total to reflect the combined shipment price. If international shipping is available and you are an International buyer, PayPal is the required payment. As per eBay policy, payment is due within seven (7) days after end of auction, or purchase.  If item is not paid for immediately, it will remain in the listings for sale and other buyers will be able to purchase the item during the payment interim.

Most packages are shipped via USPS at the lowest rate, unless otherwise noted. However, most glass trinkets and fragile items are usually sent Priority. Shipping for speedier shipping and less handling to the fragile items.  Discounts may be available on multiple purchases, please check listing. Express and Priority mail available upon request resulting in higher shipping charges. Will ship to the US and Internationally.  International shipping rates will differ.

If item is shipped and returned to seller for reasons such as: UNCLAIMED, UNDELIVERABLE, REFUSED SHIPMENT, etc., an attempt will be made to contact the buyer to determine reason. Item will not be re-shipped, however if buyer contacts me I will refund the item amount, minus the original shipping. Items will then be relisted.  If First Class postage is available (item must weigh less than 13 oz, including packaging), the postal service shipment methods may not be as reliable as the Priority or Parcel shipping.  Because of weight limitations, no orders will be combined for the First Class Postage.
Return & Refund Policy
RETURNS:
Defective items have a 14-day guarantee. If item was damaged during shipment and item has been insured, please contact your local USPS - they will need to see the product and shipping materials to make a refund.  If product has not been insured, please return to me for a full refund, including shipping costs. If item is returned because purchaser has decided they do not want it, item cost will be refunded, however, return shipping costs will remain the responsibility of the purchaser - no shipping costs will be refunded. Because of their nature, all cross stitch item sales are FINAL.
