SIGNED JAPANESE WOOD NODDER KOKESHI DOLL MAN w/ CARVED KIMONO & HAIKU POEM !

Description

This auction is for a vintage wood Japanese nodder kokeshi doll, and he measures 5.5" high.  His lightly painted kimono is also decorated with hand carved "x" marks made by the artist.   On the back is a Haiku poem in black ink.  There are more Japanese characters on the front of the base which appear to be the artist's signature.  Please see below for flaws.
This nodder kokeshi doll is in good vintage condition - hard to find many flaws other than some natural but uneven aging/shading/darkening of the wood - and would make a great addition to your growing collection.  White areas are camera glare.
Please remember that this is a vintage doll that may have minor imperfections, such as dust/dirt/dings/scratches/scuffs/age spots.
And please note the size of the doll as the pictures may make it look larger than it actually is.
