Description
I'm retiring in 2022 and it's time to pass on the acoustic guitars I've been collecting for the last 20 years. We chose guitars that were of solid construction and very good overall condition. Piece parts were replaced as needed for playability and will be noted. This is a very rare bolt-on Silvertone (1955-1962) Sunburst Archtop Acoustic Guitar Model 367 12459. The fullness of tone and extended sustain, with the warm articulation of a Rosewood fretboard, and crisp, defined Maple construction are the hallmarks of these vintage American-made instruments. The guitar, as I hope the photos show it is in very good condition
New to the guitar is the pickguard made by my local luthier, the upgraded tailpiece and the adjustable bridge. The tuners tho of different color buttons were original to me. It has a zero fret and the action is about 1/4". The nice thing about the bolt-on, tho I never did it, is that you can add a thin shim to adjust the action if desired.
This is a used, vintage guitar in nice condition that may have minor scuffs from normal use we've described to the best of my ability, so PLEASE ask any questions at least 48 hours before auction close as we cannot offer a return. **As this is a bolt-on, we will ship it with neck off for safer transit and cheaper shipping. Please be sure you are OK with this; it has 3 bolts.
PLEASE NOTE: IF THE SHIP RATE SEEMS HIGH PLS REMEMBER WE'RE NEAR SEATTLE! ABOUT AS FAR WEST AS YOU CAN GET! SO YES IT TENDS TO BE - MORE! SO WE TRY TO PRICE OUR ITEMS FAIRLY TO OFFSET THE HIGHER POSTAGE. THE BOX WILL BE VERY BIG!!
I aim to sell only items that I would buy myself.
If the description does not accurately tell you about the item, Please contact me soonest with any questions. With used items I hope you understand I cannot possibly describe every small ding or blemish. If there is something major, I will tell you in the description.
Please check out my feedback. BUYERS HAVE BEEN VERY PLEASED WITH MY GUITARS! I'm an honest seller & would NEVER knowingly sell a guitar with an issue and if there is I do my very best to describe it. Please contact me if there are any questions.
A final word on our pricing. I thoroughly go over each item being sold. No garage sale finds! Then I look at sales history for identical or similar items to set a fair price. Often I don't get paid for the time spent replacing or adding parts..it's just part of what I enjoy doing.
