Tokai 12 string acoustic guitar model 7658 solid spruce top made in Japan

This is a 12 string acoustic guitar, The brand is Tokai, and the model number is TOK 7658.
This guitar’s features include: Mother of pearl rectangle fret markers, multiple bound body, solid spruce top, beautiful binding on the fingerboard, a working adjustable truss rod, 24 ¾ scale, 21 frets plus zero fret, beautiful Mother of pearl neck binding, 16 3/8 inches wide at the lower bout, 42 inches long overall.
This guitar was made in Japan by Tokai Gakki Co. Ltd, probably in the early 1970s.
The Tokai Company was founded in 1947 by Tadayouki Adachi and remains family-owned. Tokai was the primary target of the notorious ‘Lawsuit Era’. Tokai was so good at copying Martin guitars that, in 1972, C.F. Martin contracted with Tokai to build & supply C.F. Martin with its Sigma acoustic line, and to make the parts that were assembled in the U.S. as Martin’s Shenandoah guitars.
This guitar is probably about 50 years old, so it has nicks and some scratches but no cracks. The neck is straight, with appropriate relief. The string height climbs slightly as you play down the neck. There is room to lower the bridge saddle, if you wish to adjust for this. I have tried to show all of the ‘battle scars’ in the photos. I installed a brand-new set of strings:
