This is a
Vintage 12" Japanese Ichimatsu Japanese Boy Doll Kimono Gofun Ningyo Japan.
This doll is about 12" tall. He may be made of Oyster Paste, but I am not certain. Him limbs feel like a pressed wood.
He has a few little marks/spots on his face/limbs. There is some paint loss to his nail color on his feet and his fingers as well. (see pics).
His kimono is overall in nice condition, no fading, no holes. The doll also has nice coloring, no fading, colors are nice and even.
The doll has a tiny paint loss under his right eye, which is very hard to see (see pic). His face is beautifully carved and painted.
Doll may need a light cleaning.
No odors.
