    Description

    Beautiful Rare Moonburst 1940 Harmony Rex Archtop
    I just love this finish, one of the sweetest nitro lacquer jobs I've seen
    from this era
    She is in top form as far as the tonal quality and chording, spot on
    Neck has been reset, action is great frets and fingerboard have been reworked
    No buzzing, dead spots or intonation troubles
    Some belt rash on the back and an old crack on the treble side of the neck joint side, (2nd to last photo)
    Crack was repaired years ago and is now just a bit of character
    Comes with the original Kluson tuners and the bridge base I believe as well, Fresh carved ebony saddle
    Solid Spruce top really brings the best out in her
    Some checking and dings from the road but she is just a joy to play and
    she shows up dressed to kill and thrill
    Guarantee no one else will be pulling one of these out at the Guit-together
    The Rex History is worth the reading as well.
