Beautiful Vintage 1949 Harmony h950 Monterey Leader
The guitar Elvis made famous
Guitar has been gone over top to bottom, Neck reset
New fretboard with all the fretwork leveled crowned and polished
Minor humidity crack clean repair with cleats and a spot of nitro touch up
for some checking and belt rash but she still looks Elvis cool
Definitely no wall hanging for this 70 yr old
Dings and imperfections from the yrs but she is solid as a rock
Plays like a dream up and down the neck action at 2.5mm at the 12
th
Bass side
No dead spots or buzz and she sounds really sweet and centered with driving projection when called on
She can bring it down for light plucking or picking with nice soft clear sustain just as well
She’s ready for another lifetime of service
