    Description

    Here is a vintage Kokeshi doll made of hand painted wood and signed on the bottom. The doll is 12 inches tall and the body is 2 3/4 inches in diameter.  The doll is signed on the bottom, but we do not read Japanese so we do not know the name of the artist. She is painted with soft red and gray designs on the body and black hair and facial features.  there is one spot of paint loss on the red ring at the base, and very light dirt on the top of the head, we have not attempted any cleaning.  A great estate sale find for your collection.
