Offered here a six string , I would guess from the 1940s, possibly a Regal, no markings or numbers. I’d call this one a project . Body and graphics in great condition, no cracks or major scratches, just normal wear and tear of 80 plus years.please check photos so you know what you’re getting. One tuning button is missing. Fretboard has a slim crack from sound hole to 12th fret. Looks to have been refretted , with all ends needing to be filed. The bridge has a chip and looks to have been replaced ?, not sure. In any event it may need to be repositioned . Space between strings and fingerboard at 12th fret is 5 mm. It has an added tailpiece. I’ve had it for about 30 years and owning several playable guitars , I’ve relegated this beauty to my music room wall—just to look at . Would make a great blues guitar with a bit of work. If I can’t sell it , it will continue to hang next to my 40s juke box. To wrap up , if not for those beautiful south sea island images, I would be asking a much lower price, when have ever seen one? Wheelers American Guitars book shows one very similar.
