VINTAGE TWO CARNIVAL GLASS MARIGOLD BOWLS (IMPERIAL GLASS?)

Hello everyone.  Welcome to my auctions.  Here for auction I am presenting a gorgeous pair of bowls in the
" MARIGOLD IRIDESCENT CARNIVAL "
color. The
" CARNIVAL GLASS "
patterns were produced by several glass companies.  Among them there was
FENTON, NORTHWOOD, IMPERIAL GLASS CO.
and
INDIANA GLASS CO.
CARNIVAL GLASS
was first introduced in the late 1800s.  The
CARNIVAL GLASS
pieces are probably one of the most collected by glass enthusiasts all over America.  Here we have a nice pair of fruit bowls.  The bowls have a round foot.  The large bowl has flared sides and a ruffled scalloped edge.  The large bowl has a diameter of aprox. 9 inches.  The small bowl has straight sides with a scalloped edge.  The smaller bowl has a diameter of aprox. 5 inches.  The outside and the inside bottom of these two bowl is decorated with a very pretty
" FLORAL (ROSES) "
style pattern.  This is a matching pair.  I do believe that this pair was made by
IMPERIAL GLASS CO
.
There is no signature on this set.  The set is in a gorgeous
" marigold " iridescent color
.  These pieces are in great vintage condition and they are
free
of chips, cracks, nicks, flakes or damage.
The marigold iridescent color is gorgeous.
