Vintage UKULELE 1940s HOWARD Tenor/Baritone Size A74 Restoration Project Damaged

Here is a vintage HOWARD baritone (I believe it's baritone) Ukulele that has a black label inside "HOWARD".   Perhaps Model A74  ~ this is stamped at the bottom of the label inside the instrument.
The ukulele measures 30" long, 10" wide and 3.25 " thick. Upper body measures 7.5" and the lower body measures 10".
Estimate it was made in the 1940's or 1950's but I'm not for certain.... COULD be later than that.
There is A LOT OF cracking/crazing  in the finish, and the back of the ukulele is coming off (approx 1/4 of it).
It has a nice dark stain and has edge wear and many scratches..... most of them very light.
ONE of the 4 tuners doesn't stay tight.    There are 4 strings on this now ~ unsure of the quality or life-span.
This could be a great restoration project
