    Description

    Offered for auction a "VINTAGE SCULPTURED HAND CARVED PAINTED BROWN, WHITE, GRAY, YELLOW WOOD PELICAN DECOY / FIGURE / SIGNED ED GREEN 87".  Overall measurement: Width from bill to tail...10", Height...6 1/2", Depth...3 3/4".  It is accented with clear, sporadic sprinkles on the tail, probably to resemble drops of water.  This carved wood Pelican decoy is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks or scrapes, possibly used for display.  It has the impressed oval stamp "GREENS BALTIMORE, MD" and signed "ED GREEN 87 PELICAN" (photo 12).  It is clean and from a smoke-free environment.
