Willy Seiler's dolls were sold to allied personnel stationed in Japan after WWII.
Most are found wearing various styles of Japanese kimono.
Japanese student boy is seldom seen.
18" tall.
Extraordinarily high quality design, materials, and execution.
All cloth with embroidered features, applied ears, yarn wig.
The most unique characteristic of Seiler dolls are the feet.
Big toe is sewn separately to accommodate Japanese footwear.
Complete uniform with metal buttons and hat emblem.
Black tabi. Wood geta.
